Over the past four years, my local community has invested $397,776 worth of time in fencing, weed control, felling and milling timber locally to restore five historic trestle bridges and establish low level crossings around another six water crossings. Reward our local community for their significant efforts with the funds they need to fix a collapsed section of the last trestle bridge and gravel this stunning section of rail trail. I want the 85km Shelley to Tallangatta to Wodonga rail trail opened and accessible to all on foot, bicycle and horse.

Project will be great tourism for the region!!
I rode part of this section a few days ago and it really needs work 😀 such beautiful scenery, cycling is the best way to really appreciate the journey.
As a new resident of the area and a keen bike rider it would be great to see this section of the rail trail completed.
The completion of this trail will make it an iconic wilderness experience and bring tourists to the region, stimulating the local economy whilst providing a genuine Australian journey for all to enjoy.
Having ridden the entire Rail Trail, from Wodonga and Past Shelley, it would be awesome to see it joined with the bridges.
Wonderful experience and great achievement
