Using reclaimed material we create shopping bags to replace the single use plastic bags. We as a community and individuals can make a small contribution to environment and our wildlife by eliminating/replacing plastic bags. The group consists of volunteers sewing these amazing bags. Without them we will not be able to continue to supply to our community.
We sew alternative bags to replace single use plastic bags. We aim to provide an alternative item to the single use plastic bags. Eliminating the use of plastic bags in our community is the ultimate goal.
Plastic bags end up in landfill and in our waters. Lets face it, this is not good for our environment. We aim to reduce the use of plastic bags. Frankston is a beautiful town and we hope to encourage the community to be more aware of what damage plastic bags can be in our environment. The hub will also provide community connectiveness. a place to exchange ideas, make new friends and give back to this wonderful city.

Ate there too many digits in the budget? I’m looking at 2 other project budgets - 1 for a homeless shower truck for $20,000 & the other the Mornington Soccer club building extension for $145,000. Can someone clarify the budget of $199,000 to recycle material to sew them into reusable bags?
