Birchip Club Upgrade

The Birchip Club is located at the Birchip Trotting Track within the Birchip township. The club proposes to install onsite toilets and showers, to allow the facility to be better utilised by the community.
Currently the Trotting Club and Mallee Root Festival both happen once a year at the venue and at each event toilets and showers are hired in for the day.
This upgrade can get the facility working for the community 365 days a year.

The club proposes to install toilets and showers to develop the facility to a point that makes the venue available to all members of the community for use.
The venue will then be able to host further regional events and exhibitions, like field days, cropping days, 4 wheel drive exhibitions.
The venue could also host community functions like Football Club events, Netball Club events, Cricket Club events, 21st Birthday celebrations.
The venue would also be available for use 365 days a year for RV Camping, offering tourists the opportunity to stay in the town rather than passing through.
