Big Screen Cinema On The Green

The Sales bowls club have currently got a bowls green that is no longer used due to the bowling numbers decreasing year on year for the past 5 years. The proposal is to build a large big screen television on the front of the green and holding movie nights under the stars with bean bags and couches as well as having sporting days on the big screen . Envisage what you see at Federation square and the community entertainment that this would attract for local and visitors though the area.

The project will give the local community groups and all groups of people the ability to attend the types of events above. Schools can host major gatherings with all schools coming together for information days or education days. Local community groups can have functions that raise money for there foundations. Example would be a Royal Children hospital day on the Green. It could also be used for local sporting clubs for day functions and other fundraising activities. It would bring the community together on AFL Grand Final day and Melbourne Cup day.
