Bentleigh Reserve Electronic Scoreboard

The scoreboard will be used by the Bentleigh Cricket Club (for both men and women teams and junior cricket teams), Bentleigh Football Netball Club (for both men and women teams) and Bentleigh Junior Football Club. The new scoreboard will promote physical activity and play as well increase community participation in club activities. We believe it supports club and junior sports development and will assist to attract new members and volunteers and create accessible services and inclusion for families and children of all abilities within the community. It further supports the health and wellbeing of children and families

We expect that this will encourage community participation, improve community health and wellbeing, promote physical activity and play and promote community connectedness. We further expect that we will be able to develop recreation activities and encourage volunteering amongst sport. We expect that the community will benefit by having more children and youths participating in sport, improving community health and wellbeing. The funding will allow clubs to encourage community participation and will benefit a broad range and number of Glen Eira residents. The community needs facilities that actively promote sport and recreation and encourages people to be active.
