Local Social Enterprise Elishacare has partnered with Central Ringwood Community Centre to complete the second phase of the Bedford Park Garden and Sustainability Hub, a vibrant public garden and events space in Ringwood. The permaculture inspired design of the garden will: - Be self-sustaining - Produce food at near zero marginal cost - Form an inclusive space for the community This grant will enable us to establish: - 6 timber Bio Intense Wicking Beds for teaching purposes -A Wild Children's Play Area to immerse children in nature -A Bush Tucker Garden for produce and educational purposes

The entire Maroondah community stands to benefit, sharing events such as Makers Markets, cultural performances and private functions, as well as low cost sustainability workshops like:
- Grafting
- Composting
- Pest Control
- Bees Wax Wraps
- Bush Tucker Cooking
- Wicking Bed Design.

Existing programs at CRCC will expand to use the garden facilities:
Migrant English students will learn language
