The ethos supports business start-ups, the expanding digital economy, provides an inclusive space supporting grassroots design-led culture, and encourages young innovators to form creative careers.
Being a social enterprise, Co-Space will leverage the expertise of a partner, Here Studio, who have already forged various meaningful community engagements in Ballarat and established flourishing urban coworking spaces.

An inclusive, innovative hub that supports our creative community is required for Ballarat’s projected population growth (160,000+ by 2040). Co-Space provides a space championing design, ideas and local excellence - a home for creative professional networks to solidify the urban culture of Ballarat.
To align with thriving hospitality and tourism in Ballarat, Co-Space provides offerings locally that educate, inspire and upskill creatives along their career paths. Our project links us to the global coworking movement, building future working models and liveability in Ballarat.
