Project will fund a nature based program connecting seniors with young children
learning and working together

Access

- Elderly with limited access to the wider community

How will they use it
- Sharing experiences

- Experienced passing on their lifetime learning to the younger groups.

- Sharing stories, verbal or written
- Using i-pads and USB microscopes

This project will connect vulnerable, socially isolated senior people either in aged care facilities or as participants of seniors programs bringing them together with young children in a positive and educational environment.

The connection of these two groups ; the seniors and the very young, will help build a stronger more cohesive community.

Many of our senior citizens are disconnected from younger generations within the community. This project will ensure both groups will benefit with meaningful interactive
nature study and gardening experiences with elearning tools such as ipads and USB microscopes to observe and learn together.
