Commencing with the establishment of a Community Garden precinct that will include a communal vegetable patch and outdoor pizza oven/ BBQ area It will require a redesign of the area selected for accessibility and functionality. The goal is to build a community between adults and children, recognising that children learn best with real-life problems and hands-on activities.

Schools are often at the heart of any community – they are vibrant places where mums and dads, grandparents, children and young people congregate to learn, socialise and build social networks. At the Badger Creek Community Planning Day residents were surveyed on what they liked and their vision for Badger Creek. They indicated a need for a focal point in their community where they can enjoy and experience the environment and community that they live in . Positive outcomes from improved community engagement includes stronger, healthier communities; improved learning abilities in children, Lifelong learning for adults, engaging vibrant schools.
