Axedale Primary School Netball/ Basketball Court Roof & Surface Upgrade

Axedale Primary School is seeking support for the installation of a multi-purpose cover for its existing netball/basketball court and a surface upgrade of the existing netball court.
Access to these upgraded facilities will be accessible to the entire community who will directly benefit from these upgraded and new facilities.
The key users of these upgraded facilities include the students and teachers of Axedale Primary School, Natural Learners the school's before and after school service as well as a number of local sporting groups including basketball, tennis and netball clubs.

Currently the Axedale township does not have a large outdoor covered space, this project offers this to our community. To the school this project provides the children with a play space that has shelter from the sun and rain, it provides an outdoor covered learning space which can be utilised by the teachers all year round. It also provides an area for the school to hold assembles, school concerts, special events etc.
To the local community it provides a meeting space for many of the local groups including the tennis club, netball teams, basketball teams etc.
