Freedom Care is a food relief agency providing on-going food assistance to those in need, including aged pensioners, disabled, single parents, unemployed and the homeless. Sealing our car park will make access to our building much safer for the elderly and disabled, as well as much easier for our regular clients and visitors. Our car park is often flooded during heavy rain, and even when dry, the surface is difficult to manage and requires constant maintenance.

Freedom Care also provides emergency food relief for the wider community, in times of natural disasters. Freedom Care began operations to provide aid for the Black Saturday bush fires of 2009, and again during the Kilmore bush fire of 2014. We also support the emergency services during these times. Freedom Care also operates an Opportunity Shop that is open to the public. An accessible car park should encourage greater patronage of our Op Shop and help support our organisation and work.
