To provide art lessons for the youth in Avoca and district at the Arts Hub, a bus will be hired to pick up the youth and drop them off. A variety of art activities including visual arts, music and theatre will be shared at a gold coin donation for ongoing expenses. Mature artists will be employed to direct the activities.

The youth will be kept off the streets and drugs as they involve themselves in artistic endeavors. Artists will have a job to teach and direct the youth in bridging the generation gap. The Arts Hub will be fully utilized each week with a view to future young talents encouraged and nurtured. Youth of all abilities will be catered for.

Hi , I just wanted to say I respect the youth in the district and their families values, I just heard that there is drug-dealing in the community and I would like to give an alternative to enrich their lives and help any within our reach before this could becomes a bigger problem in the community. Thank you, I'm aware that the wording in the application sounds really harsh, but i hope you catch the vision ..

Great project Dawn. So important to keep the minds of the young locals busy so they don't get themselves in trouble. Art is a great therapy.
