Apartment living awareness

By 2030, one in two Australians will live in strata. How do we transition a society from peace and tranquility of the quarter acre block to apartment living with just 150 mm separation. Purchasing an apartment is a large investment and for many completely unknown until they move in.

This program seeks to inform and prepare families, the young and the old, about how to live in the apartment community before they buy by firstly identifying if they are suitable to live closely with people, then explain shared obligations, how to connect and build community and how to get involved.

Most disputes arise within apartment living simply because of ignorance. Apartment living is an opportunity for a community to connect and support each other, not fight each other. This interactive program seeks to help current and future generations:
- understand if they are suited for apartment living before they rent or buy.
- experience what is expected of them and what to expect before they rent or buy.
- what to look for when thinking of an apartment before they rent or buy.
