Currently there is inadequate car parking around the netball courts and football oval at Ellimatta Reserve. When we host home games, it is evident that there is not enough car parks, which causes safety issues as parking is ad-hoc with cars parking wherever they can. The club is working with council to address the issue and preliminary plans and costings have been determined. The car park upgrade will provide a safer environment and increase pedestrian safety for the wider community and visitors, as well as increase functionality and efficiency.
The car park has been a major issue for a number of years. The AFNC community have identified the car park upgrade as a top priority. This upgrade will increase safety, functionality and efficiency. It will allow clearer identification of where to park at the ground, ensuring a entry that is welcoming and making our community an even better place to live. The project aligns with the clubs value of 'welcoming' and also addresses a key priority area in facility upgrades.

A club that is well loved and supported by the community, it's time that it received some support and much needed upgrading. It is no longer user friendly, visitor friendly or safety friendly.

I agree that the car parking needs to be upgraded. Just not sure about the loss of vegetation though as that path is beautiful with low hanging trees. Can't the club just upgrade the current footprint?

Its a struggle in the parking area through mud and uneven surfaces with decreased mobility to get access to the club rooms. Please fund this important community project.

It is atrocious that in 2018 we are still trudging through the mud every weekend for our kids to play at this important community place

Much needed upgrade for a popular sporting venue. Will ease congestion and provide a safer option for pedestrians.

Parking is very limited and very congested. For safety reasons more parking needs to be allocated.
