To remain an activity hub, the Anderson's Creek Primary School Sports oval needs urgent replacement of the synthetic turf. The oval is used by students and the local and wider community.
Our current synthetic turf is proving more hazardous to play on as it ages.
There are also health concerns being raised, around the mass plastic pebbled fabric from the old turf, as it disintegrates and holes appear.
The oval is used daily for PE classes and annual events and used by sporting community groups out of school hours.
The Anderson's Creek Primary School's oval is much loved and utilised by the the school and wider community for sports and celebratory events. With the school motto, Learning through the Community, we embrace community groups and shared access. The upgrade of the running track would provide a quality surface for our Running Club and PE program. The oval is also being used by the local cricket and basketball teams and families.
New turf on the oval would ensure sports and activities continued and ensure sports and play is safe and on a friendlier surface to roll, fall and sit on.

Very important to the school and our children that this be resurfaced. It is used not only for the school kids but also on the weekends by our community. The current surface is horrible to sit on and play on and the little black things get stuck on their clothing, in their shoes and in food if you try and eat on or nearby it.

Our kids need this,m. We need to encourage our kids to stay physically active and having a space like this in the school grounds is a necessity not a luxury.

Funding for this project is above the normal fundraising of the school. The children of the school and the wider community need this space for physical activity. Your support is appreciated.
