The Anakie Football & Netball Club are pursuing the support through a grant for 2 new tower lights at our reserve. The current towers require replacement due to their age, LUX rating output & that they do not comply with AFL standards and are expensive to manage.
The upgrade would allow us to provide adequate lighting to showcase twilight matches, a safer environment for players during evening training and create vital revenue along with enhancing our community involvement.
Our commitments are unwavering to improving the facilities we have to use in our small community. Helping us to improve our grounds will keep the life in our country club, the heart and soul of Anakie.

Its a must so we dont train on half a ground every night.
AFNC is working hard to improve the facilities to SAME standard as everywhere else. Please vote we need your help.
Anakie needs all the support possible for its players and not be disadvantaged against the other GDFL clubs with better facilities.
Having two new light towers will open up more opportunities for our club.
It will also allow the players to train using the hole ground. Great project and will get great publicity in a small country town.
This is a must so Anakie can then sell itself as a club to increase its junior sides and play junior night games

Getting good lights will allow other events to be used at the facility. A plus for the community.
