The festival will unite all local residents of all ages from all denominations and persuasions, the opportunity to participate in a cultural food festival in the 2nd most culturally diverse suburb. It will promote community inclusion in an environment that is safe and accepting of all faiths and cultures. Partnerships will include local government, VicPol, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, local businesses and local primary, secondary and language schools. It will also involve the Hobson's Bay Interfaith Leaders. Key activities will include cultural entertainment (dancing and singing), cultural food, animal farm for children, face painting, hena painting, food and other activities.

Bringing together a diverse range of cultural groups of all ages and faiths in an environment that is accepting, safe and non judgmental. It will provide intergenerational opportunities for children from child care, kindergarten, school and other settings meeting older community members from aged care facilities, community groups and clubs as part of a festival that is open to all. Primarily it will focus on community inclusion, active ageing and health and safety.

Intercultural meetings/partnerships will occur with other cultural groups such as the Maltese neighborhood house, Vietnamese association and Walker Close Centre which facilitates a range of groups.
