Alcohol free, low cost event celebrating christmas in wyndham

Christmas At The Lakes is an annual low-cost, alcohol-free event for families to celebrate the festive season in Wyndham. This will be our 13th year running with the participation growing every year, our last event we had over 10 000 participants.
We hire a large stage where local talent from schools etc. entertain the community, we provide lots of different stalls, e.g. food, entertainment, health and well-being, local voluntary community groups i.e., Rotary, Santa comes to visit we have endearment rides, an animal farm for the kids and an impressive fireworks display to end the day.

Our event benefits the community as it gives the community a sense of belonging in Wyndham which is one of the fastest growth corridors for population currently in Australia. Local talent get to perform which gives them a great audience and often gets them referred and rebooked to attend other events. The community gets valuable information from local voluntary community groups about their services available and sometime participants even join which benefits membership. Local businesses benefit as they develop partnerships, where business can be conducted during the year through advertisement with their stalls or sponsorships.
