The young can teach the older person about computers and other skills, which comes naturally to them and the older can be a support person for the young because of their experiences and teach them forgotten life skills. New friendships can be formed especially for the single community which consists of young and older people from all backgrounds and reduce isolation. We aim to break down the generational gap by finding a common ground.
This is a growing area of every community . This project can make people feel more connected and build stronger relationships within our neighbourhood.

The local community will benefit from this project by the stronger connections being formed between younger and older people and minimising the generational gap. The benefits for older people are that they can step out of their comfort zone and socialise with young people in a safe, friendly environment. Young people benefit by broadening their relationships, gaining life skills and learning traditional skills which might have otherwise been lost. Our project can bring older people into the modern world, partly through technology and help them feel like more valuable members of the community through their ability to acquire new skills.
