Active Lake Charm

The Lake Charm Fitness loop will be designed for a wide range of ages and abilities, to be more than an walking track. This is much needed modern community infrastructure.
Each item of equipment on the loop allows flexibility to cater to the various strength, fitness and agility levels of the locals and tourists using it.
With our ageing population it is increasingly important to provide local opportunities for seniors to exercise to maintain bone density, dexterity and mobility. It will also entice younger people to become more involved. Designed in pods of three, communication and joint activities are encouraged.

The Kerang Lakes Community have been collaborating over a period of time to identify key needs and priorities for the area develop plan. Outdoor fitness stations is one identified project that will be an alternative way to connect people in this area of all ages and abilities. It will encourage regular exercise and healthy living, through an inviting, understandable, fun and sufficiently challenging, safe and built 'tough to last' exercise loop. Locals and visitors will benefit from the equipment in a shared, central location. The community will continue to extend the options as they raise more funds. This is stage1
