Sunassist has a great reputation throughout the Sunraysia area by helping the aged and disabled.
From the boss Richard through the other staff we volunteer drivers find it’s a very relaxed place to help out those in the area with transportation to appointments, shopping etc.
It is a unique organisation that needs as much support as possible.

Sunassist is a local volunteer based community organisation providing a very valuable community transport service to the elderly and people living with disability. Sunassist requires a wheelchair accessible vehicle to support the elderly and people living with a disability to access critical health and medical services in the community.
Transport is vital in enabling opportunities for the aged and people with disabilities to participate wholly in society, and quality of life indicators such as employment, social connectedness, civil and political rights, access to health, and education are severely restricted without such access. This project addresses the need for an accessible vehicle that Sunassist can use to provide a community transport service to the elderly and people living with a disability to access available services in the Mildura community.
