Unfortunately our park currently has no community access for all abilities within the restroom facilities. Our project aims to provide safe access and inclusion for all abilities, it will involve upgrading our 2 main amenity/restrooms to provide disability/non-restrictive access for all abilities to toilets and bathing facilities, including rails and specialised equipment to support all abilities.
We are very fortunate to already have the space in both bathroom facilities to achieve the project.
Our park has a therapeutic relaxing atmosphere that encourages all abilities, and when we are asked on a regular occasions if we have disability bathroom facilities it is so disappointing to have to say no. I have also noticed quite a few of our regular older and ability challenged community members struggling at times to access the rest room facilities. It would be a great realization for the park to deliver access for all abilities, creating no restrictions on who can use and enjoy the park.

Just like all the facilities at the park, the toilet blocks have not been upgraded for decades which means we have not moved with the times and have no provision for access for all abilities. We have many visitors to the park that require an all abilities toilet or shower so it would be fantastic if we could finally upgrade to one.

My niece is epileptic and had a seizure on the toilet. As the doors ar sliding bolts we could not access the toilet to assist her.

Very much needed upgrade. At present only the women's toilets are accessible for someone who cannot walk easily.
