To ensure a range of small and large communities had the opportunity to be part of Pick My Project, no more than 50 per cent of a regional partnership areas funding was awarded to one local government area (LGA). As a result this project was unsuccessful.

Liebig street will be transformed into a Christmas themed wonderland with street stalls packed with Christmas gift ideas, entertainment from street performers, alfresco dining and a chance to see the city's new Christmas lights and decorations. The event will also showcase the local community through a massive street parade that will make its way along Liebig street before the community gets together to celebrate with a Christmas party like no other. The event will celebrate the end of the City Centre renewal project and kick off the festive season.
The audience targeted by this event includes the broader demographics in the Warrnambool Community and surrounds, with the night aiming to bring the city together and have something for everyone. The event will promote overall community participation and encourage growth and excellence in the economy. The event will continue the city's focus on local community engagement and collaboration between small businesses, community groups and council, with the city's vibrancy and vitality being showcased throughout the shopping event and party.
