This project is about giving children and their parents places that are safe where they can come and play. Or where a parent can come and see their children if they are divorced or separated. Echuca has a high drug use which results in a lot of domestic violence. Families need somewhere they can come for assistance and to deescalate the trauma for the children when the non resident parent wants to see their children.

This project will benefit the community in providing somewhere safe for children and their families. When families separate there is sometimes a lot of trauma involved and children need to feel safe. Families will be able to get food vouchers, counselling and a safe place to see their other parent. It will be also safe to come and play.

This project will provide a child friendly and safe place during transfer of children between parents. Also a more satisfactory and child friendly environment for the supervision of the children with the non residential parent.

Great project - will enable parents to spend more time with their children if project successful as currently they have to travel an hour both ways.
