“A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Planet” is an environmental superhero show, about becoming a planet-saving superhero by reducing, reusing and recycling!
We’ll make the show accessible to everyone with 15 free performances (including three Auslan-interpreted shows) at community centres around Melbourne’s west.
PLUS ‘Meet The Heroes’ after every show, where kids can have a photo with their favourite hero.
PLUS a Hero’s Guidebook to take home, full of fun pictures and colouring activities, to take home and share with family and friends.
The show presents its messages of reducing, reusing and recycling in an inspiring and easy-to-remember format.
Braybrook Hub’s Community Consult (June 2018), identified a need for children’s dance, music and performance. With epic songs and slick moves, “Hero’s” can meet those community needs.
Families in our community aren’t always able to afford live entertainment. Funding will allow western community centres to offer the show free-of-charge to audiences, providing an opportunity to meet local artists at a hilarious, professional theatre show, and a chance to connect with other members of their community.
We know how important it is to protect our environment. “Hero’s” presents information in an easy-to-understand way, inspiring audiences to make sustainable, environmentally friendly change.
