As we strive to create more opportunities in smaller regional towns, we need to recognize the societal relevance of providing a sporting and social scene that encourages families to seek out opportunities that involve a socially inclusive sporting club and what it has to offer.
This is very much the case at Hill Top Golf and Country Club.
Providing a playroom and playground equipment for families would only encourage this.
The Victorian Government recently acknowledged the need for more passive exercise opportunities for all citizens both young and old.
This project sets out to create the first contact for families.
As stated it has been well documented and publicized that there is growing need for Victorian citizens to become more active.
Not everyone can play football ,netball or other high impact sports.
Exercise is also much more enjoyable if it done in a group environment.
Both golf and bowls create a form of low impact exercise with the social benefits that make people feel better about themselves.
Thus becoming the whole mind and body situation which everyone strives for.
Making the club the social hub from a family perspective will have a long term benefit for all involved.

Hilltop would be a wonderful location where children can play under the watchful eye of their parents who would be enjoying the comforts at Hilltop.
