A Brighter Future for The Arts in Rural Victoria

We are looking to the future of regional arts. We want to grow our beautiful community-owned Art Deco cinema into a space that will foster local arts and music.

Installing professional sound and lighting equipment will catapult us toward this goal. It will give us more scope for live productions, enabling people to participate in the arts through attending a huge variety of theatre, music and dance - or even producing their own.

Developing The Rex into a fully-fledged performing arts centre would create a haven for the arts in Victoria's farming heartland.

Not only does that mean more spectacular entertainment for rural Victorians, but more opportunities for the community to tell their own stories.

This state of the art facility will also allow our youth to learn about every aspect of the arts and music - on stage and back stage - ensuring a bright future for arts in the region.
