We believe that information and communication technology in our kindergarten is part of the learning landscape of the future. Active involvement in learning builds children's understanding of concepts, creative thinking and inquiry processes that are necessary for life-long learning. Up-to-date and age appropriate information technology in our curriculum, alongside the traditional play-based learning experiences, will enhance this learning process and allow our children the opportunity to expand their knowledge and explore the world of IT in varying aspects.

As most five-year old’s have short attention spans, the use of technology can help present the same material in different ways. For example, an iPod can be used to teach children an alphabet song, they can watch a presentation on television to learn how to write the letters of the alphabet and they can use an iPad to play an alphabet game. In using repetition this can be a powerful way for children to master a certain skill. Children enjoy repetition as it helps them feel confident with the new skill and allows them to actively participate within the group.
