WynBus - On-Demand Public Transport Bus Pilot Solution completes project
WynBus - On-Demand Public Transport Bus Pilot Solution completed its project in October 2019.
The project piloted an on-demand Flexi Public Transport Solution over a six-week period for areas/routes which currently have poor bus coverage within the Wyndham area. The bus helped reduce traffic congestion, helped bring seniors together, and made it easier for students with accessibility issues to get to school. The pilot has paved the way for new PTV bus routes, a senior bus shuttle, and a school bus shuttle.
