Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club Community Area completes project
Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club Community Area completed its project in December 2019.
The project upgraded Woolamai Beach SLSC's community and training area by added new furniture, renovating the toilets and building a new clubhouse entrance. The upgrades have created a space for surf lifesavers to develop and improve their skills, contributing to a safer environment for all visitors to the beach. The surf club has also provided a space for the community to hold weddings, group gatherings and other events. Funds from events are being used to buy rescue equipment. The club is now better equipped to include minority groups such as disability nippers, CALD youth and troubled teens.
