The Nature Bus: Growing healthy kids and nature connected communities completed its project in January 2020.
The project converted a bus into a mobile nature play and education facility visiting schools, early learning centres and community organisations in South West Victoria. The bus provides nature-based learning programs, nature play and environmental stewardship initiatives. It's helped educators learn how to incorporate outdoor play nature-inspired learning activities and projects into their curriculum. Children have been able to connect with nature and learn how to care for the environment. Educators have reported that after engaging with the Nature Bus, children are more interested in playing outside.
