The Compost Depot completed its project in April 2020.
The project started a food waste collection service in Darebin. The waste collected from households and business is processed into compost. The service has taught the community how to live a sustainable life and reduce food waste. During the last year, the program has stopped 7,744 kilos of toxic greenhouse gases being emitted.
