Tackling online bullying in secondary schools completes project
Tackling online bullying in secondary schools completed its project in May 2020.
The project redeveloped the existing Cyber Cats on-line bullying prevention program for year 7 students in Geelong. They engaged Deakin University to evaluate the framework and relaunched the program in light of the evolving way young people use the internet. Since the launch, some improvement in student confidence to respond postively to cyber-bullying has been witnessed. The program is advocating for schools to book all their school levls in, expanding the positive impacts in the community.
