Southern Lights completes project
Southern Lights completed its project in November 2019.
The project delivered a free community winter festival and a light display project in the Korumburra main street. The music, fire and light festival was so popular that it is going to be a regular community event. Spending was up 82% in the town on the day of the festival. The light display consisted of 12 weathered steel drums laser cut with patterns, pictures and text lit up against buildings and footpaths. The display added vibrancy to the area and attracted many people to the town during winter, often staying to eat and drink.
