Save our Koalas! completes project
Save our Koalas! finished its project in March 2020.
The project developed a mobile education display trailer and ran educational sessions at local schools, community groups, markets and events. They also built a koala rescue trailer and treatment room and quarantine enclosures at a wildlife shelter. The program has had a massive impact on koala awareness, with a rise in emergency hotline calls. The school koala count has encouraged children to get outside and engage in wildlife conservation.
