Portland Foreshore Swimming Pontoon completes project
Portland Foreshore Swimming Pontoon completed its project in February 2020.
The project installed a swimming pontoon at Portland's Foreshore. Many people in the community have been enjoying the pontoon, including youth, swimmers and kayakers. Open all year round, the pontoon is encouraging physical activity, sport and outdoor recreation. It's also contributing to the safety of the community, by acting as an alternative to swimming activities in unsafe and illegal areas.
