Multi-purpose cinema facilities at the Apollo Bay Community Centre completes project
Multi-purpose cinema facilities at the Apollo Bay Community Centre completed its project in April 2020.
The project installed cinema facilities at the Apollo Bay Community Centre. This included a retractable cinema screen, audio system, digital projector, sound control, wifi, air-conditioning, new seating, tables and storage facilities. Locals are using the space for films, events, meetings and emergency respite. Heat Day Programs are being offered to seniors contributing to their comfort and wellbeing. Community events are helping to lower social isolation in the population, which is a growing issue.
