Lighting up Goroke completes project
Lighting up Goroke completed its project in April 2020.
The project installed lights at the Goroke tennis and netball courts. The lights have allowed for more coaching sessions, netball training and week-night tennis and netball competitions. This has lead to increased sport participation and offered an alternative to Saturday sport. The competitions have brought people in the community together, from players to spectators. The increased participation is contributing to better mental and physical health and wellbeing.
