Learning for the Future: Children and the Merri Creek completes project
Learning for the Future: Children and the Merri Creek completed its project in January 2020.
The project developed a five-week program at Moreland Primary School for students to spend one afternoon a week at the Merri Creek with Wurundjeri Elders, artists, scientists and members of the community. Students, staff and families have learned new ways of caring for country through local practices, and this has enabled learnings about local-global connections and place-based education.
