Giving women equal opportunity to play footy in Yarra completed its project in February 2020.
The project installed new lighting and electronic scoreboards at Brunswick Street Oval and Ramsden Street Reserve for the Fitzroy Football Club's women's teams. The ability to play night football has allowed clubs to meet the needs of the growing female and junior programs. The electronic scoreboards remove any manual work and relieve volunteer demands on match day.
