Fyans Park PS - Solar Community Hub completes project
Fyans Park PS - Solar Community Hub completed its project in December 2019.
The project installed a 94kW solar power system large enough to generate energy to serve the school and parts of the wider community. Data from the solar power system is being used by teachers to educate students on the importance of alternative energy sources and sustainability. Students at the school have become more interested in sustainability practices. Surrounding schools have been in contact with Fyans Park Primary School to investigate installing their own solar panels.
