Disability Access for Regional Swimming Pools completes project
Disability Access for Regional Swimming Pools completed its project in January 2020.
The project installed hydraulic chair lifts for the indoor pool in Castlemaine and the outdoor pool in Chewton. Those with limited mobility now have a choice to safely access pools locally. They're able to enjoy greater independence and fewer expenses in travel times. They're also benefitting from year-round access to exercise, as are people who've experienced an accident or injury.
