Creating awareness about our unique "salad-bowl" status completes project
Creating awareness about our unique "salad-bowl" status completed its project in January 2020.
The project created activities to educate five primary schools in the Cardinia Shire about Sudanese and Sikh communities. Running over a 12-month period, the activities included presentations, reading materials and tours. The increased awareness of Sikh and Sudanese cultures has built bonds between students from diverse backgrounds. This benefits the community by promoting social harmony.
