Alexandra Park Sports Lighting Upgrade completes project
Alexandra Park Sports Lighting Upgrade completed its project in May 2020.
The project upgraded the lighting at Alexandra Park from 56 lux to 100 lux. The lighting has allowed night cricket and football, increasing the park's participation. Players can spread across a larger space now that a larger portion of the oval is well lit. The field is also now a safer place for users to train and compete.
