Alexandra Park Cricket Nets Upgrade to multiuse facility completes project
Alexandra Park Cricket Nets Upgrade to multiuse facility completed its project in November 2019.
The project refurbished Mornington's Alexandra Park cricket facilities. The upgrade replaced the four cricket nets with six new cricket training nets with retractable netting. The new nets mean that the playing area can now be utilised all year round by multiple sporting teams in the area. With more local facilities, participation in sport is being encouraged, contributing to lower stress among young people.
