Air Ambulance Heli Pad completed its project in February 2020.
The project built a concrete helipad at the Cobden Airport for their air ambulance. The new helipad is appropriate for landing in all weather conditions and should last the community up to 50 years. Emergency patients are now able to be transferred to Melbourne hospitals much quicker than via road.
